Setting itself apart from the competition, the PD-100 incorporates innovative design features in its intake and exhaust valves. The downward-angled exhaust valve within the oral/nasal cup eliminates dead airspace, preventing the inhalation of CO2 and reducing fogging on the shield's exterior. On the other hand, the two intake valves, positioned higher on each side of the mask, ensure consistent and cooling airflow, enhancing overall comfort and wearability.
The PD-100 mask and filter set come equipped with two P-A-1 carbon-activated filters. These filters have undergone independent testing to offer superior protection against organic vapors and filter out 95% of particulates down to 0.3 microns. Thanks to their user-friendly design, these filters can be effortlessly exchanged with a simple twist, securely locking into the cartridge interface. Encased in a heavy-duty plastic cover, these filters consist of multiple nonwoven fabric layers, providing additional protection against respiratory hazards.
