Introducing the Bayonet: ABEK1P3 Filter, which is designed to provide serious protection at an affordable price point. This filter is capable of filtering out the same chemicals as our MaxPro 203 filter.
This unique bayonet design allows traditional mask with bayonet filter ports to offer the same level of protection that only 40mm gas masks could provide in the past. When paired with the PD-101 or the T-61 respirators, the Bayonet: ABEK1P3 can protect from a wide variety of organic gases, inorganic gases, vapors as well as solid and liquid particles. See the information below for a better understanding of contaminates filtered.

The Bayonet: ABEK1P3 Filters contain specific activated carbon granules with optimized characteristics such as pore size, grain size, activity level and density which provide a maximum adsorption performance and a really low breathing resistance.
Ideal applications for this filter include but are not limited to the following:
- Survivalist / Disaster Relief
- Mining
- Steel Mills / Metallurgy
- Glasswork
- Law Enforcement
- Ceramics
- Chemical Laboratories
- Chemical Applications
- Painting
- Automotive
- Heavy Metals (lead, nickel, chromium etc.)
- Ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives
- Agriculture (chemical spraying)
Product may vary in appearance from product images shown on this website but the filtration capabilities, mask compatibility and applications will remain as described above.
**Number values listed after Letter ratings indicate exposure limit ratings.
- A1 Organic gases and vapors with a boiling point > 65 °C; 10 x occupational exposure limit or 1000 ppm
- A2 Organic gases and vapors with a boiling point > 65 °C; 10 x occupational exposure limit or 5000 ppm (e.g. like A1, but in higher concentrations)
- AX Organic gases and vapors with a boiling point ≤ 65 °C
- B Inorganic gases and vapors (e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen cyanide)
- E Acid gases and vapors (e.g. sulfur dioxide, hydrogen chloride)
- K Ammonia and derivatives
- Hg mercury vapor
- P Particles, Mists, Vapors
- P1: Water- and oil-based non-toxic dusts and aerosols.
- P2: Harmful dusts, fumes and aerosols based on water and oil.
- P3: Harmful and carcinogenic dusts, fumes and aerosols based on water and oil. Against radioactive particles, as well as airborne biological agents of risk group 3 and enzymes.
- P1: 4 x Workplace Exposure Limit
- P2: 10 x Workplace Exposure Limit
- P3: 30 x Workplace Exposure Limit
- R (reusable): Reusable, can be used for more than one shift.
- NR (non reusable): Single use, disposable filter.
- D: These masks meet and passed the requirements of the optional dolomite dust test. This means less breathing resistance (easier to breathe) over a longer period of use
